Plant markers - Try #2

We started our garden again. Squash, eggplant, zucchini, okra, tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and peppers are now planted and growing great in the summer heat! Remember last year when we made plant markers? Check this out for a refresher.

Well, those were made wish washable watercolors and were laminated. But, alas, they did not last in the rain! So we decided to use acrylic paints this year. And I just prayed that JT wouldn't throw the paint. Notice Bella has the acrylic paints and JT has the WASHABLE watercolors. Also notice JT doesn't have his clothes? He is all boy, you guys!
She painted pictures of the vegetables on little terra cotta pots.
He is hard at work!

He was full of concentration that day so I'm thankful for this smiling picture.
Our finished project!
Thanks, Grammy, for the fun apron. Sadly, JT would NOT put his on. He prefers only a diaper to paint in.
