Christmas post: Take 3

While were at my sister's house for Christmas, Mike and I were able to have a mini getaway to a cabin with a little creek in the back. It was such a great time and we are thankful for my family for watching the kiddos.

The kids seemed to not mind at all. =) They went to the children's museum and played and ate and played and took naps. So they didn't miss us - which is fine with me. That means they had fun! Enjoy the pictures.

I love this picture of JT with dad. JT crawled up in his lap to get a backrub. And he stayed there for a long time. So cute!

My parents

For those of you that know my parents, I'm sure you will all agree with this post. But, y'all, aren't they great! I'm so glad my sister captured these pictures of these two. They deserve their own blog post!

How can you say thank you for these two great people that have helped make you who you are? That are still your greatest cheerleaders? That let you be crazy happy, annoyingly chipper, really sad, and anything in between? That still answer the phone when you call to say, well, not much? And, that point you to the Lord? I have no idea. But I sure do try to say thank you! And continue to be thankful.

Christmas at the Biltmore

The first morning we were at my sister's house we took a trip to the Biltmore. Y'all, that's a big ole' house! We had a great time looking around though!
Uhm, if you could see my face it was probably locked on those stairs. There is nothing scarier than a fearless 2 year old running down those stairs. I did not let him go. Poor guy!

Photo bomb: Times 2!
Aww, sista' love. We had lots of people asking us if we were twins. One day I'm going to pretend like I had never met her before. Then go crazy, "Oh my goodness, you look just like me! You lucky gal..."  =)

Christmas pics: Take 2

As promised, here are some more pictures from Christmas. We traveled to Rutherdfordton, North Carolina where my sister and brother in law moved into a new, beautiful house! We had some great times outdoors, especially the kiddos!

My daddeo picked me out this beautiful giraffe sculpture. I just love it!
And dad picked this out for Brad. Dad gets the best gifts!
Bella received lots of Barbie accessories and has enjoyed hours of fun!

There will be more coming up!
