Easter 2011

About a month ago, I daydreamed about having our baby boy by Easter. Little did I know that would be the case! If you read this blog you know how much I love our church family at Liberty. So, the Easter sunrise service each year is always so special. It was bittersweet to go this year. You might remember this post from last year. Last Easter was the day we announced that we were expecting another little baby - and we were so excited. About three weeks later, we found out we miscarried. This year brought back alot of those emotions. But it also brought new emotions of being so incredibly thankful. We also sang "Because He Lives" which made me a post-partum-prego-hormonal mess! It was such a sweet time to be there with two of our children, sing with the other Liberty saints, feel so blessed as I heard my husband pray during the service, and simply be thankful for the Risen Saviour.

Our sweet church had a rocking chair moved in the church when we first joined the church. Bella was three months old at the time but unfortunately did not like to be rocked (she preferred LOTS of walking, movement, and bouncing...). I never did get to use the rocking chair with Bella and was kindof disappointed. So, this time around I have a child who likes to be rocked! Halleluyer! So, guess what i've been doing when we go to church? That's right - rock our sweet boy to sleep! The chair is also at the front of the church so I have a great view of the cute preacher - hehe! It's also in full view for the rest of the church to see the baby. Not that they would be distracted or anything. :) I hope you all had a great Easter!
