Sumter was located close to both the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. And, one of the best towns to visit on the coast is Charleston. When our parents came to visit us, we took both of them there to enjoy the sightseeing and getting to spend time with them again! We went to the Middleton Place Plantation, Waterfront Park and Battery, Magnolia Gardens, and the Market.
