Our son was only 3 months old at the time of these pictures. 3 month old babies are SUPPOSED to fit into sinks to take a bath. It's kindof like a right-of-passage to be bathed in a sink as a baby - especially at the grandparents house. Right? And because I am usually in denial about the size of my son (just ask my hubby) I figured my big boy could fit in the tub. He's only 3 months...remember?!? So, what did I do? I put him in the tub...and here's the result.
Step 1: Stuff (lovingly of course) 3 month old into sink (remember he's wearing 12 month old outfits?) Oh well, continue stuffing. Denial wins!
Step 2: Attempt to bathe big boy. Get a resulting face from this big boy that tells you what he is probably thinking of you at this moment.
Step 3: Try to figure out how to wash big boy's back while he is stuffed, ahem, placed in sink.
Step 4: Give up on trying to actually wash big boy since he won't budge.
Step 5: Try to figure out how to maneuver your son out of the sink...remember he is stuffed in there? Y'all, literally, he couldn't move.
Step 6: Finally squeeze, squirm, pull big boy out of the sink and decide he's clean...even though you couldn't get a rag in there to clean him. It's the thought that counts.
Step 7: Cuddle, hug, kiss and coo with big boy.
Step 8: Bathe big boy in the REAL tub the next night...result? A happier baby!
Step 9: Continue to cuddle, swaddle, kiss, and coo...
The end.
